- Vehicle has a lean condition – found engine is building excessive vacuum. The oil traps are notorious for clogging on these vehicles causing a lean condition. Oil trap needs to be replaced. Also, drove vehicle with scan tool to monitor the catalytic converter operation; found both front and rear oxygen sensors following each other! Vehicle may need a catalytic converter replacement but the lean condition must be addressed first!!
